Call log to PDF on Android

Your phone keeps a call log, but has no button to hand it to anyone. 2doc reads the call history for the period you choose and writes it into a PDF on the phone: incoming, outgoing, missed, declined and blocked calls, each with its date, time and duration.

What the PDF contains

Every call in the period, as a table, one row per call, grouped by day.
The contact as your phone names them, or the number.
The direction: IN, OUT, MISSED, DECLINED or BLOCKED.
The time and the duration of each call, and the total for the period.
Page numbers on every page. The free version adds a "Created with 2doc" line in the page footer.

Export your call log to PDF

Open 2doc, tap Create Document, then Call Log. Allow 2doc to read your call history. It is read on the phone and stays there.
Pick the period: Today, 7 days, 30 days, or Custom with a start and an end date. Longer ranges are a Pro feature.
Tap Generate Document, then open it and tap Share, Share protected for a password-protected copy, or Print.

Calls and texts belong together more often than not. Add a Messages section for the same person and period, or a Contacts section with the numbers involved, and they sit in the same document, each as its own section.

Print your call history

Open the finished document and tap Print. Android's print dialog opens with your printer, or Save as PDF, as the target. 2doc hands the file only to the print service you pick there. If the phone answers "Printing is not available", it has no print service installed: share the PDF to your email or Google Drive and print from a computer.

What is free

What can be missing

The phone keeps a limited call history. Android and some manufacturers cap the log, and a call deleted from it is gone for every app.
2doc reads the phone's log, not your carrier's records. For calls older than the phone's history, ask your carrier for an itemised bill.
Calls made inside chat apps appear only if that app writes them to the phone's call log.

To keep the history itself, use 2doc's free Backup & Restore: it saves the call log to a standard XML file on the phone, with an optional password, and restores it on the same phone or a new one.

Questions

Does it include the duration?

Yes. Each row carries the call's time and duration, and the period's total duration and call count are shown too.

Can I get it as a spreadsheet?

No. 2doc writes PDF. The free backup writes the same calls to a standard XML file, which is data rather than a document.

Does it need a computer?

No. The log is read on the phone and the PDF is written there.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Your call log never leaves the phone unless you share the PDF or the backup yourself.
